The First Entry

I am merely experimenting with this blog thing and so this first entry is a non-event. Sorry! There are 17 days left before departure and I am trying to get all of the things ready. My plane is in for it's annual and I am getting my Brazilian visa, yellow fever shot, and etc., etc., etc.
I want to post photos and videos from the trip - once started - so this will actually be interesting, at least to my friends that have no choice.
I will write more later - now the fun part.
