Day 2 Palm Beach Florida

Thank you thank you thank you to the jet stream it is amazing what a 60 or 70 knot tail wind will do for you. I left Midland this morning and planned my flight to New Orleans but once up there I calculated and recalculated and recalculated the whole flight to Palm Beach and did the whole flight in a mere 4:14 minutes. To the right is the mighty Mississippi - well it is supposed to be but I was really high when I took the picture.

In case you didnt know it (I didn't) when you fly to Palm Beach from West Texas they take you across the Gulf of Mexico. Also that means you are out there with a lot of water. A very lot of water!

I got to thinking - gee I hope there is land up there and luckily the GPS agreed that there was some up there. A really beautiful flight.

Oh yea there it is - whew, land ho!
